VERDANT SOLAR TERMS OF USE

1. Introduction

Welcome to Verdant Solar. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Verdant Solar website at verdantsolar.my (“Website”) and the Verdant Home App (“App”), collectively referred to as the “Platform.”

By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Platform.

The Platform is operated by Verdant Solar Sdn. Bhd. (Company No. 201501019046 / 1144381-A), a company registered in Malaysia.

2. Use of the Platform

You agree to use our Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

        Use the Platform to engage in any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity;

        Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its systems;

        Transmit any harmful, offensive, or disruptive content;

        Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or extract content from the Platform without our prior written consent;

        Impersonate Verdant Solar or any of its representatives.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.

3. Verdant Home App

The Verdant Home App is a mobile application provided to Verdant Solar customers to monitor and manage their solar energy systems. The following terms apply specifically to your use of the App:

3.1  Account Registration

You may be required to create an account to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.

3.2  Eligibility

The App is intended for use by Verdant Solar customers in Malaysia only. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian.

3.3  App Features & Availability

The App provides real-time monitoring of your solar system performance, energy generation data, and system health status. We strive to keep the App available at all times; however, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, or technical issues beyond our control.

3.4  Data Generated by the App

Energy and system performance data generated through the App are subject to our Privacy Policy at verdantsolar.my/privacy-policy. We may use aggregated, anonymised data to improve our services.

3.5  Third-Party Integrations

The App may integrate with third-party platforms or services (such as utility billing portals). We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of these third-party services.

3.6  App Updates

We may release updates to the App from time to time. Continued use of the App following an update constitutes your acceptance of any revised terms or features.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and software — is the property of Verdant Solar Sdn. Bhd. or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on our Platform without our prior written permission. Viewing and printing content for your own personal, non-commercial use is permitted.

5. Enquiries & Quotations

Submitting an enquiry or requesting a quote through the Platform does not constitute a binding contract between you and Verdant Solar. All quotations are subject to separate confirmation and formal agreement.

Verdant Solar reserves the right to decline any enquiry or quotation request at its sole discretion.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. Verdant Solar does not warrant that:

        The Platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure;

        The information on the Platform is accurate, complete, or current;

        Any defects in the Platform will be corrected.

You use the Platform entirely at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Verdant Solar shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption.

This limitation applies regardless of whether Verdant Solar has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. These links are provided for your convenience only. Verdant Solar does not endorse and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party websites. Accessing third-party websites is done at your own risk.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy at verdantsolar.my/privacy-policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia.

10. Changes to These Terms

Verdant Solar reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Platform. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain various social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook and Instagram.
  • Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Create engaging and visually appealing content for social media platforms, including graphics, videos, GIFs, and more.
  • Develop a content calendar and ensure consistent posting across platforms.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with overall marketing campaigns and objectives.
  • Utilize graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) to design graphics for social media posts, ads, and promotions.
  • Ensure that all visual content aligns with our brand identity and style guidelines.
  • Edit and produce video content for social media, including short clips, promotional videos, and tutorials.
  • Monitor social media analytics and track the performance of content.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing content strategies based on data-driven analysis.
  • Undertake ad-hoc operational tasks as given by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
  • Education: Hold a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: Demonstrate a track record in social media, marketing, or graphic design roles, supported by a robust portfolio showcasing social media proficiency.
  • Technical Skills: Exhibit proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, video editing tools) and possess a solid grasp of design principles and practices.
  • Branding Understanding: Possess a strong understanding of branding strategies and the ability to translate brand identity into visual elements and messaging.
  • Communication Skills: Display excellent communication and collaboration abilities to effectively liaise with diverse teams and external stakeholders.
